How do I take care of Bijougraphie jewelry?
Each meticulously hand painted and crafted Bijougraphie piece is inspected to ensure it's fit for wear. Since machines don’t assemble or paint them, you can be sure that your Bijougraphie jewelry piece is truly delicate and unique, a benefit and added value that things hand-made bring. When delivered, the jewelry is protected by a black organza pouch enclosed in a plastic packet and padded with a bubble mailer. When not in use, keep your piece in the organza bag provided. Use a soft dry cloth for cleaning.
What are your shipping rates?
Bijougraphie offers three modes of delivery: regular shipping (free), international regular shipping (additional fees) and expedited shipping (additional fees). All rates are in CDN $.
Regular shipping is free for orders sent within Canada and the US. For orders being sent to Asia, Europe and South America, a shipping and handling fee of $7.50 is added (we will send you an invoice for this when we process your order) and takes up to 10 business days to arrive. With regular shipping, keep in mind that your order does not come with a tracking number. While Canada Post's mailing service is reliable (given that you provide your proper mailing address), Bijougraphie cannot be held responsible for tracking your order in the event of its loss in transit. If you'd like your package tracked, you should consider using Fast Shipping (Canada and US only) or Tracked Shipping (Int'l).
Bijougraphie's mandatory additional delivery charges for optional expedited delivery ensure that your order arrives timely (3-7 business days), securely (with a Canada Post tracking number) and ultimately, efficiently. The flat fee is $15. For orders outside Canada, the following shipping and handling costs will be included in the invoice we send you when we process your order. These are our established fees:
US: add $10 (total: $25)
Int’l: add $50 (total: $65)
Do you have terms for settling damaged goods?
Yes. While we’re confident that each piece we deliver is fit for wear before shipping, exchanges or rebates will be considered as soon as you let us know that your order is noticably damaged upon receipt (eg. conspicuously chipped).
Just as we deliver your order in an efficient and timely manner, we require customers to do the same. You must do this formally by (1) sending an e-mail within 7 business days of the order's delivery date listing the damage along with 2-3 pictures closely documenting it,* (2) mailing the product back to us within 10 business days of the order’s delivery date. You will need to (3) include a written note matching your email's listing that details the damage upon receipt so we can process a decision efficiently and easily.
NB: Failure to exactly do the three enumerated steps on time will negate any possibility of an exchange or rebate.
*Pictures should be less than 2 MB at 72 dpi. Send this to: info [at] bijougraphie [dot] com Subject: Damaged Goods, Receipt No. XXXXXX.
